This song is so powerful in the message it gives out to us. It was written when a close friend died of cancer at a young age, but after the suicides of Chris Cornell and then two months after that, the man who wrote and sang this song originally committing suicide in the same way, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, this song also seems to carry even more depth of meaning in it. It is my hope that no one will choose to harm themselves. Life is precious - so precious that God sent His son, Jesus to die on the cross and carry our sins on the cross to give us the opportunity to be saved through the shedding of Jesus' blood on the cross. We are priceless in God's eyes. Please remember that. No matter who you are, if you think no one cares about you and wouldn't miss you if you were gone from this world, I promise you that someone cares and at the very least, God does care about you.
