Turning Fear Into Awe-some Wine
This week’s Torah reading in Israel is Sh’lach. It relates the well-known, tragic story of the meraglim – the 10 out of 12 spies who slander the Land by returning to the desert with enormous grapes, to show the People that the Land is out of control and we cannot conquer it, dooming that generation to die without entering. What better way to celebrate our nation’s return to our Homeland than by showcasing a winery established in the very same place where the spies walked? Faith, determination and tremendous sacrifice are the name of this game. Welcome to Drimia in the town of Sussia.
