From the other night at Arthur's House of Jazz in Methuen featuring Mark on upright, Steve on set and myself on vibes. We played songs from our latest CD "Good Vibes" which features Les Harris Jr. on set, Mark on upright and myself on vibes and piano. The tune I'm playing solo here on this post is a song I wrote for Les titled "One for Les". We also played a beautiful ballad of Mark's titled "Ballad for Les". It was a night of music honoring our dear friend who continues to be an inspiration for all of us. All of the evening’s CD sales will be donated to the Exeter Hospital’s Beyond the Rainbow Fund in honor of Les. All in all an enjoyable night with a very appreciative crowd. Also fun having Arthur sit in with us on alto for a few tunes. FYI: The CD "Good Vibes" can be downloaded and heard on Bandcamp. It will also be available on all of the major streaming sites in the near future.
