Kappa Danielson - For friend Nestor, who has been so encouraging to me.....by special request...as promised. :) Written by Will Jennings and Joe Sample. Randy Crawford cover song. Also this song was featured in Moulin Rouge and recorded by Nicole Kidman. This is WAY the heck out of my usual genre to say the least and a more difficult song for me considering the sheer number of minor and barre chords. I'm used to the country "three chords and the truth"....:) This is 60 flippin' crazy chords and the truth....lol :) I encourage you to listen to the Randy Crawford version as well. Nestor introduced me to Randy and I'm so glad he did. She has one of the most beautiful voices I've heard and is an extrememly hard act to follow. I put as much of myself as I could into this while still keeping the original feeling of the song. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
