We were joined by Chantal Al Arab and discussed all kinds of topics about living in Denmark, LGBTQ+ rights in Denmark and abroad, and some of the things that we had to adjust to when we moved to Denmark. One thing that took us a little while to adapt to in particular was the drinking culture.
🇩🇰 Going out to a bar in Denmark is very different than the same experience in America. We broke down all the ways that Danish drinking culture is different, in especially going out to a pub.
One way of course, is that some places still allow smoking ✨ This was a huge culture shock to us, because it’s been all but outlawed in the US for decades. Never without some good advice, Chantal gave us some great advice on dealing with the smoking culture in Denmark and saving some money in the process.
