I went to the biggest wholesale clothing markets in Guangzhou, China. U:US and apM to find out what your favourite brands actually pay for the clothes they sell you.

These markets sit in the Guangzhou Railway Station district, they're open to the public, and you can walk in and buy a single piece at close to wholesale price.

This is where the clothing you own comes from before anyone puts a logo on it. I wanted to see the real price of a garment before the brand markup, and find out whether shopping here is actually worth doing as a normal person.
