The Tianjin edition of the CMG Film Culture Carnival kicked off on Aug. 14, drawing large crowds to its themed markets.

The cast and creative team of Once Upon a Time in the Middle East, including director Wen Muye and actors Shen Teng and Jiang Qiming, made a surprise appearance at the event.

They recreated scenes from the film, including one featuring hand-pulled noodles. With live performances, food and film-inspired experiences, the carnival is bringing the lively atmosphere of Once Upon a Time in the Middle East from the screen to the streets.
