HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
First of all I should warn everybody that this video turned out more creepy than I originally planned.
As I do every year, I wanted to make a horror themed OUAT vid for you guys and my first idea was -- what a surprise -- American Horror Story. I even started vidding the 4th season intro music, but you know what, it's not that easy to make it look frightening as the others were. It's gonna take some time and work but I'll come up with something for that too (so beware another creepy OUat opening soon..)
Anyhow, I ended up wanting to use another song. This track was in my library for years but now when iTunes decided to randomly pick this song for me one night I took it as a sign :D It has the perfect amount of creepy factor and it has a decent length as well. I mean 30 seconds is not a lot esPECALLY when you have a big cast like Once, but I guess it turned out okay.

Usually I dont like using songs/styles I already did once, but after seeing The Tower I just had to make another AHS style intro for Once! That episode was creepy as hell and I loved it!
When I started making this I only wanted to do it for that one episode, but as I was making it I realized I needed more material, so I decided to make it for the whole second part of season 3 (well the three episodes already released of course).
This is why I started with Josh and didnt include for example Ginnifer Im sorry, I really like Snow, but her bump is just not scary. At all. Its too adorable for a horror video.
I was thinking about using the voiceovers for a long time, but I think they fit the video. All in all I like how it turned out:)

SPOILER warning for episode 3x12!!!
Oh my god I cant believe Once is finally back! Its been 3 months, I feel like a new season has begun now honestly. I loved this episode SO much! I loved the whole concept and especially the Regina-Snow storyline. It was bittersweet and very well written and Im pretty sure Ill vid those two in the near future. What really surprised me is that Im starting to like Hooks character. Maybe I just needed time to get used to his style, but I have to say, in this episode he really got me.
Also THOSE COSTUMES. Enough said.

Sooooooo, its been FOREVER since I wanted to do a LOK vid, and I started this around the time the series finale aired (still crying over that, for many reasons). Yeeeeah, it took me a while to finish it. First the effing NewBlue plugins started to have problems then the whole Vegas project was deleted somehow (???) and after a while I simply lost my will to continue... But! I managed to finish it in the end ;) I saw an episode that aired in the gym and was like okay I need to rewatch this and ended up rewatching the whole 4th season :D Of course after I needed to vid something so I finished this already half-done madness. This is a total random video. Enjoy!
Also I tried not putting so much effects into it as I originally did (it was a LOT trust me..), but I like how it turned out.
Plus, Korra + dubstep? Pure epicness. Might do another one later on if the inspiration decides to stick around a litte more.

So. I made this vid over the span of a few weeks, not for the lack of drive but life has been busy™ and I simply didnt have the time. Its a wonder I actually sat down to edit anything, really. I finished it two days ago, was about to upload it yesterday, but was thinking, whats one more day, I can just finish the touching up and thumbnail tomorrow, itll be the same. Well, today we got the news that Netflix cancelled the show and Im heartbroken. I think its already been praised enough that I dont have to list all the reasons why that was a horrible decision. Its a special show and Im gutted.
I dont want that to overshadow the fact that this is my love letter to the show, its creators, writers, actors, and everyone involved in the making of this wonderful love story. It is truly unique, made with heart, soul and care, by people who love it for people who loved it. Ill be forever thankful for it, no matter what comes next for it. (I wanted to end the vid on a hopeful note even before any of this happened, but now Im especially glad I stuck with it. )
They cant beat us. Not together. #SaveWarriorNun
One last shout out to my wonderful girlfriend, who not only helped me push this project through the finish line - on multiple occasions, giving me feedback and ideas -, but stayed up late with me when we got the news, and helped me through the shock. The Ava to my Bea. Thank you, peach.
