ONCE UPON A DECEMBER (From the movie Anastasia)
Piano Accompaniment with Karaoke Lyrics in B Minor.
Cut Movie Version (with 16 bars less instrumental).
Once Upon A December is a song from the 1997 movie Anastasia. The song was written by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens and originally sung by Liz Calloway. The tempo and key are based on the movie version (rather than the newer musical version).
In this version I have cut 16 of the 24 bars which usually populate between the 2nd and 3rd verse sections where the choir and orchestra take over. Whilst in the movie it is perfect for performance it may not be as helpful so this version runs shorter than the full song.

British pianist and arranger Tim J. Spencer has created, in The Accompanist, a collection of Piano Accompaniments of Musical Theatre and Popular Music songs.
These Broadway and West End accompaniments have been specifically performed to match the tempos of the original (cast) recordings where possible. These karaoke style tracks have been created to give the audition performer the sound of what is likely within an audition environment where often we are not faced with a full orchestra but simply a pianist.
