I have to be honest, Once Human is starting to shape up to be a good survival game. One big problem is that spending 14 or 15 weeks on the southern Nalcott map is that we got spoiled with knowing where everything was, and how things "just were" so then when we got to the Northern Map, we started scrambling because things weren't easy anymore.
While there probably is a little room for improvement of the effectivness of Silver Axes on gathering fruit, it is a perfectly reasonable method to have to use a special tool to get something to upgrade thermal towers. The same thing with seeds. If farming is going to be a key part of the game, then the vendors should only offer a limited number of seeds, and if you want to produce those items you have to cultivate your own seeds.
By the way, a Fetch-a-lot bunny will bring back a lot of wheat, corn, and other seeds for you.
