Episode 5: St. Louis

With "On the Road with Riley," trumpeter Riley Mulherkar takes you on a virtual road trip to see how various jazz scenes around the U.S. are coping. In Episode 5, Riley connects with St. Louis-based pianist, composer, and educator Adam Maness. The two discuss how to stay productive while social distancing and reminisce over their days working with Jazz at Lincoln Center's Jazz for Young People on Tour program before getting a band together to play W. C. Handy's "Saint Louis Blues."
