On the bench at Soundgas: Roland RE-201 Space Echo tape delay with spring reverb.
This is part of the initial inspection phase of our process - all machines begin with a top service and new tape to assess mechanical performance - only then can we begin to deal with the electronic side of the servicing.
This machine will have an extensive and detailed rebuild/refurb with our usual tweaks, mods and improvements before final calibration and extended testing.
Once complete it is heading back to the country of its birth, Japan, to a customer’s studio.
