In this week's Penny For Your Thoughts, I kind of want to dive into the topic of state alliances within the context of mutual aid, with a special focus on New Jersey's role as a 'lifeline state' but I feel very strongly about this subject overall for all states.
I also find it fascinating how the state's decision to codify the right to abortion into law provides a crucial shield for reproductive healthcare, protecting patients and doctors from out-of-state interference and question why other states are reluctant to do the same.
