Yes, cops have a job to do, and yes it is demanding, and dangerous at times. That said, they are citizens, equal in every way to the public, in the eyes of the law. At least that's the theory. There are various ways of, and reasons for, police exceeding their authority. this video only touches on one tiny aspect of it.
