Elbit Systems | ON RECORD October 2021: FUTURE BATTLEFIELD @elbitsystems | Uploaded December 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
Drones and robots on the battlefield are no longer only science fiction. In fact, they have become common in the Israeli Defense Forces with the help of Elbit Systems technologies. During recent operations the IDF has been able to undergo a revolution in intelligence gathering and target acquisition.
In addition to its quadcopter drones and on-the-ground robotic technology, Elbit System’s C4I application helps keep soldiers in-the-know with a touch screen display, and connects them to the main battlefield headquarters for seamless communication. It is essentially a digital ground army system that can operate in tanks and vehicles. It can also be used with the sophisticated "Shaked" smartphone, providing immediate information on force deployment, the enemy's position and targets, for immediate strikes that are updated by intelligence personnel in real-time. An Elbit Systems senior official says the technology is “creating a revolution that will enable a quantum leap in the battlefield," giving the IDF a digital edge.
