The UK Armed Forces are strengthening partnerships with Elbit Systems, including in the air, on land, and at sea.
Beginning at sea, Elbit Systems UK has recently been awarded a 100 million dollar contract for the Royal Navy's new Electronic Warfare program, The UK Ministry of defense says this will upgrade the Royal Navy’s detection capabilities, maintaining the UK’s operational advantage at sea.
In the air, Elbit Systems has been awarded a contract for the operation of four additional Texan T-6C trainers for the UK Military Flying Training Program. Elbit Systems UK, in collaboration with KBR, operates and maintains the Royal Air Force's flight school, which comprises 42 training aircrafts including The Phenom, The Prefect, and The Texan T1 and T6 aircrafts.
Finally on land, The British Army selected Elbit Systems UK to deliver the ICAVS Deployable training and simulation technology, which helps train forces in a variety of environments. The immersive platform will deliver virtual training, meeting the requirements for a new advanced training program. This training technology contract joins the already existing joint fires synthetic training program with the first artillery brigade of the British army, and the selbourne project for the UK Navy’s training.
