The Royal Swedish Navy will get new combat management systems, under a new contract recently awarded to Elbit Systems Sweden. The company will supply the Albatross Combat Management Systems for the Navy’s Spårö Class Mine Countermeasures Vessels. The Albatross software correlates underwater detection and surface tracks, based on real-time data, live video streaming and imagery data. This contract award adds to a series of business achievements including contracts to provide Electronic Warfare technologies and Training & Simulation capabilities to the UK Royal Navy, Unmanned Surface Vessels, under-water capabilities and Electro-Optical systems to navies in the Asian Pacific area.
