Polly-"Where were you!?" *screaming at him*
Nat-"I went for a walk."*he could barely talk*
Polly-"Come here!"*Pulling his hair so hard*
Nat-"I'm sorry, ahh"
Polly-Who the heck do you think you are? Eh?"
Nat-"I just wanted to think, I-"
Polly-"This late!?"*Let's go of his hair*
Nat-"Yeah, mo-"
Polly-"You have me until here! You're worthless! You go to the streets like you were a freaking grown up!"
Nat-"I'm not worthless! And you know what!? I do wish I was a grown up! That way I wouldn't have to support you humiliations!
Polly-"Don't you dare talk to me that way!"*slaps him*
Nat-*his face goes to the right and then he touches his cheek*
Polly-"I'm your mother like it or not!"*about to slap him again*
Michael-"Polly! Not another slap! Nat, Oh my god, I was worried!*goes and hugs him and leads him inside his room*
Polly-"Stupid Michael"
Laura-"You ok"
Allie-Yeah mom, I didn't see the kid I wanted to see though"
Jim-"Anyone special?"
Allie-"No, he is just a friend"
Laura-"I'm sure he was busy"
Allie-"Yeah"
Jim-" And there's always tomorrow, time to sleep now"
Allie-" Good night dad, night mom"
Jim & Laura-"Night" *they smiled and left*
Nat entered his room, closed the door and fell on his knees crying. Michael hugged him tightly and told him not worry; he will always be there with him.
Nat-"My mom doesn't love me, does she?" *crying*
Michael-"Don't say that, she loves you"
Nat-"No dad, she... hates me"
Michael-"But I love you, that's what really counts"
Nat-"She should have never of had me" *get's up*
Michael-"Don't you dare say that, your brother and you are the best thing in my life" *goes next to him*
Nat-*wipes his tears*
Michael-"Come here"*hugs him*
That night Michael fell asleep right beside Nat on bed, when Michael woke up, he saw Nat. He touched his cheek gently and a tear fell. Nat seemed calm but his cheeks were still red from all the crying. He tried not to wake him up and left quietly, he found Polly watching TV as always. He didn't say a word and went to get a glass of water.
Polly-"Did the cry baby stop crying?"
Michael-"You-"*stops himself and ignores her*
Polly-"Yeah, keep quiet"*stands up and goes next to him*
Michael-*stares at her*
Polly-"I'll take that as a yes"
Michael-"Think whatever you want"*goes to his room*
Nat woke up, his eyes were burning and he felt a bit tired and dizzy. He stood up slowly and went to see outside the window. He smiled weakly and took some cloths to change and left to the bathroom to take a shower. He let the water run through his face and later on his body. He started to think of how it would be better to leave the house, maybe escape and be free. Polly was packing up; Michael didn't say a word while she did. Alex finally woke up and hurried to the kitchen to see if he could find Nat but he didn't so he went to his parent's room and found Polly packing up.
Alex-"Going somewhere?" *runs to her*
Michael-"Don't worry about it Alex"
Alex-"She is leaving, mom don't!"
Polly-"Oh Alex, it's best for us"
Alex-"How about us!? Mom I love you, Nat loves you and even my dad does"
Polly-"One day, I'll be back. For now I have to go"*she finishes to pack up and leaves the room*
Alex-"Don't go."*Michael goes and hugs him but he breaks through and runs after her*
Michael-"Alex!"
Soon Nat came out and saw Polly going out the door and both Alex and Michael going after her. Polly went back to see Nat and stood in front of him and stared him into the eyes with fury but she was firm.
Nat-"What's going?" *his voice was steady and firm*
Polly-"Making you a favor"*smiles* "Hopefully you will stay as a dumb little boy, bye Alex"*leaves*
Alex-"Mom!, Nat tell her to stay!" *Tries to go after her but Michael stops him*
Nat-"I-"*Words wouldn't come out*
Nat could just simply look at her while she walks away and tears came up, he putted himself a goal, he wouldn't be a dumb boy like his mom thinks he is and show her that he is better than that so she could come back. He heard Alex scream and it broke his heart, he walked away to his room and started to scream and kick the stuff in his way.
Nat-"I'll show you, mom. You'll be back and I'll prove you wrong"
