Champions Ballad (Single-Shot OC MAP Part 3) cerkowah 2021-04-12 | WHOO BOY i am Not very comfortable doing detailed backgrounds (especially nature) and i decided to give myself an even bigger challenge by doing the badlands, so I had 0 artistic references to go off of and had to figure it out on my own. BUT im really happy with how it came out despite the struggle I had!! I really wanted to capture the unique appearance of the badlands, since theyre my favourite place to hike/visit, including the wild shapes of the cottonwood trees, and i think i succeeded! I also did some experimental stuff with tweening but thats just boring technical talk so I'll spare you the details------------------------------------Script: The theme of this part was daytime and just hanging out! Colouring robots/armour is hard so I always pounce on any simple colour palette maps like this, they always let me push the amount of detail in my lineart without making me suffer for it laterAlso yes! id rather sleep. (Animation Meme) cerkowah 2020-10-26 | !!EYESTRAIN/FLASHING COLOURS WARNING!!So, there's a lot of reasons I made this. One of them was I downloaded blender to try some 3D modeling (mostly for cosplay stuff I don't plan on doing any 3D animation with it) and I noticed it had a 2D animation feature as well. I figured I should try it out! This took about a week to animate (with about half of that time spent experimenting and messing around) and I'm really happy with it!! This is my first proper venture back into frame by frame in several years (very old subscribers may remember when I used to do it fairly regularly) and my first time using proper animation software instead of saving every frame and putting it into moviemaker. The second reason I made this was to celebrate Doom Eternal's DLC release!! It technically came out October 20th but HEY 6 days late isnt too bad. I wanted to make something that focused on Slayer's relationship with the Sentinels and his grief at losing them because I feel like that's kinda glossed over in-game. This man has some TRAUMA (they're also cats because I don't have enough confidence with humans yet to animate them)This description is getting pretty long but FRIENDLY REMINDER SLAYER IS MUTE!!
