Back to school… but make it refinery edition.

The Chemietage 2026, organized by the Association of Austrian Chemistry Teachers (VCÖ), brought educators together to keep curiosity (and chemistry) thriving.

As part of #OMV’s activities, we welcomed teachers at the Chemistry Faculty, University of Vienna, and took a selected group on an excursion to OMV Refinery Schwechat. They received a behind-the-scenes intro to how “This is not waste” and our transformation becomes real:
