Swedish black metal band Burning Darkness was founded in late 1999. In the demo years Burning Darkness frequented the underground venues of the greater Stockholm area and remains a tenacious live act to this day.
The bands past saw numerous shifts in sound and style within the black metal genre. This is attributed to the long cast of musicians who has been part of the lineup over the years. Drummer and founder Gérman Echiburu (Nazghor, Helvegen) has been the one constant throughout the bands career.
In 2014 the debut album The Angel of Light was recorded, although its release would not be until a couple of years later. The album saw the return of original vocalist Per Kolderup-Finstad (Circle of Chaos, Svartur Dödur), who had previously been apart of the band for the first couple of years. The Angel of Light was self released and got positive, yet limited feedback. The release remained quite obscure. Shortly after the release guitarist and main songwriter at the time, Joel Brink, decided to leave the band. Bass player Ghiaur (Vokodlok) shifted to the guitarist position alongside Daniel Wennersten (Hadriel). The band was joined by Severin Gottsén (Decadence) on bass. Daniel had written a couple of songs for the debut album. Now the two guitar players got started on writing music for the sophomore album.
Burning Darkness continued playing gigs around Sweden, mostly in Stockholm and also did a mini tour of Romania in 2019. After that is was time to record the second album.
Dödens Makt (The Power of Death) is a more varied and atmospheric recording than the raw and intense debut. Mixing both fast tempos and very heavy parts. Classic melodic tremolos and progressive elements. The lyrical themes of death and anti-christianity are kept from the previous album, but new themes such as horror and norse folklore are now present as well. The cover artwork depicting a demonic bat-like gargoyle is created by the masterful Łukasz Jaszak.
All hail the Chiropteran Demon!

Bio
Svart Vinter is an Italian Black Metal band formed in Rome in 2021 by members of the band Veil of Conspiracy. Drawing inspiration from the classic Norwegian black metal scene of the 1990s, the band’s name, meaning black winter in Swedish and Norwegian, reflects the bleak and atmospheric qualities of their music.
Though relatively new to the scene, Svart Vinter has quickly established themselves in the underground black metal community. Their debut album, “Mist” (2022), received critical acclaim for its raw intensity and evocative atmosphere. The album captures the essence of traditional Black Metal while adding a fresh, emotional depth.
Svart Vinter’s sound is characterized by haunting melodies, cold, sharp riffs, and a powerful, relentless rhythm section. Their lyrics delve into themes of nature, isolation, and existential struggle, exploring both the beauty and the darkness of the natural world and the human condition. With poetic, introspective lyrics, Svart Vinter creates an immersive experience that resonates deeply with listeners, reflecting on the human spirits search for meaning in an indifferent and often hostile universe.
Svart Vinter’s music is more than just a reflection of Black Metal’s harsh sound—it’s a journey through darkness, atmosphere, and emotion, a tribute to the genre’s past while looking toward its future.
Recently, the band signed a record deal with the Dutch label Non Serviam Records. Their highly anticipated new album, “Isvind”, is set to be released on 30 May 2025.

Bio Gjallarhorns Wrath:
Gjallarhorn’s Wrath is an extreme metal band from Barcelona, born from the legacy of Oblivion, an atmospheric black metal act founded in 2001. Oblivion made a strong impact on the Spanish metal scene with their deep exploration of light and darkness. They performed across Spain and toured with Norwegian legends Ancient. Over time, the band members went their separate ways, and the group disbanded. However, the spirit of their music endured.
Years later, the core members reunited with a shared vision to create something even more ambitious. With the addition of vocalist Alex, Lord Ashler moved to bass, Javi Iron returned to handle drums, keys, and composition, and Arash continued as lead guitarist. Together, they formed Gjallarhorn’s Wrath, blending the raw aggression of blackened death metal with the grandeur of orchestral and cinematic elements.
Their sound maintains the thematic essence of their origins light versus darkness but now with greater depth, refinement, and epic scope. In 2025, Gjallarhorn’s Wrath signed with the respected Dutch label Non Serviam Records. Their highly anticipated debut album, set for release later this year, marks a bold new chapter and cements their place in the extreme metal landscape.

Florida Based Black Metal band The Noctambulant present their 3rd album Hellrazor
an album that is “mythology-laced black metal thats as shadow-clad as it is serrated.”

Being steeped in the traditions of Blues, Rockabilly, Goth rock and American Country, The Noctambulant has found their niche in the Southern Gothic motif that they were raised around, while keeping their signature Black Metal sound.
Featured on Track 3, Kjell Mr.Damage Karlsen lends his guitar chops to the searing opening and closing solos of the Blackened Swords of Satan

![Golden Dawn - Return To Provenance [Full Album / Melodic Black Metal HQ]
Country: Austria | Year: 2012 | Genre: Black Metal
Return To Provenance was released in 2012 by Black Metal band Golden Dawn.
Order here: https://www.non-serviam-records.com/collections/golden-dawn/products/22026603
Golden Dawn was formed in 1992 by Stefan Traunmüller (aka „Dreamlord“) as one-man band. The musical approach was rooted in the second wave of Black Metal but on early demo songs Golden Dawn was also inspired by Doom Metal and Bathory’s “Viking era”. The first demo called “Lullaby” was self-released in 1994 in a very low quantity, in 1995 a split-demo with the Dark Ambient side project called Apeiron was released via the French label “Impure Creations Records” (later Velvet Music). Despite the poor recording quality Golden Dawn caught the attention of Ray (Pazuzu) and Martin Schirenc (Pungent Stench, later Hollenthon), who invitied Golden Dawn to take part on the compilation album “A.B.M.S. – Norici Obsurca Pars” along with Pervertum, Trifixion, Pazuzu, Knechte des Schreckens and Vuzem (pre-Hollenthon).
The two Golden Dawn tracks on this album as well as the third demo “Way of the Sorcerer” got good critics throughout the Black Metal underground and so the recording of the debut album “The Art of Dreaming” in 1996 was the logical next step. The blend of medieval-sounding keyboards, harsh Black Metal with blast beats and high screams and some dreamy Ambient parts was very innovative at that time. The lyrics dealt with shamanism and occult philosophy. The original release of “The Art of Dreaming” (later it was re-released by Napalm Records) via Dark Matter Records is a collector’s piece nowadays. It earned a good reputation, among others it was album of the month in the French Metallian magazine. Recently “The Art of Dreaming” was honoured as a classic Black Metal milestone in the Norwegian Scream Magazine.
Unfortunately the label Dark Matter Records ceased to exist before the second Golden Dawn album “Sublimity” could be released. The recordings were already finished in 1998 but the album remained unmixed and unreleased. In 2001 Stefan Traunmüller recruited the guitarists Karim Kienzle and Sebastian Reiter for the work on the new album “Masquerade”. On “Masquerade” Golden Dawn enriched their Black Metal style with influences from Power and Gothic Metal, the album was released by Napalm Records. The drums were played by Moritz Neuner, well-known from bands like Dornenreich, Graveworm or Abigor.
After the release the line-up split up and Golden Dawn continued as a solo project. The collaboration with Jasper Werhahn and Fabian Ziegler from the progressive Black Metal band Atrorum led to a new album that was already pre-produced but was rejected by Napalm Records, who had already grown to a big, commercial label. Being bored by the Metal scene and unwilling to write more melodic or even Gothic-styled songs Stefan Traunmüller decided not to follow that commercial direction with Golden Dawn. He concentrated on setting up his own recording studio “Soundtempel Studio” and started to produce several Metal bands, including the Norwegian Black Metal project Wallachia and the Austrian Pagan Metal band Bifröst.
After several years of very little work on Golden Dawn the new album “Return to Provenance” took shape in 2009. The whole music and lyrics were written by Stefan Traunmüller within only 3 months, intendedly without too much melodic or experimental songwriting. “Return to Provenance” sounds pure, energetic and melancholic, without being too polished. Golden Dawn does not want to keep track with the commercialized fast-food Metal scene, therefore the offer from the small but dedicated label Non Serviam Records to release “Return to Provenance” was accepted with pleasure.

![Comatose Vigil A.K. - Evangelium Nihil [Full Album / Doom Metal HQ]
Country: Russia | Year: 2018 | Genre: Doom Metal
Evangelium Nihil was released in 2018 by Doom Metal band Comatose Vigil A.K.
Order here: https://www.non-serviam-records.com/collections/comatose-vigil-a-k/products/122349496
Founded in 2001 in Moscow : A.K. iEzor (vocals, drums), Vigill (guitars) and Zigr (keyboards). It was originally named Subhuman Abstract. Next two years were spent in throes of creation and experiments. They found their way after having discovered such a genre as Funeral Doom metal. It showed vividly how slow and obscure metal music could be. Musicians took a few previously composed sketches as a basis and looked at them in a new perspective. They have changed their band title to Comatose Vigil. In that way transformation has begun.
The debut album «Not a Gleam of Hope» brought out in 2005. It set a great example of Funeral Doom Metal art. Extremely low tempo and cold, sickly synths produced effect. The following EP «Narcosis» was released in 2006. The same year Comatose Vigil played their first live show. A streak of bad luck has begun since new members joined the collective. Countless line-up changes caused inner issues and almost stopped the progress of composing. The only way to save the situation was to get back to original line-up. And Comatose Vigil finally started recording their second LP. 2011 was marked by releasing of a new album, titled «Fuimus, non Sumus…». Sound engineering reached a new level under production of Greg Chandler, whose efforts made it more transparent and monolith simultaneously. Unfortunately, it could not keep the band from breaking up. Comatose Vigil disbanded in 2013 for the first time because of inner discord. An attempt of reanimating the band was also a losing battle. Resurrected Comatose Vigil played two local live gigs in 2015 and then broke up again for the same reasons.
A.K. iEzor was trying hard to find a solution which could give this band a new birth. And he made his own luck. Comatose Vigil raised from the dead as Comatose Vigil A.K. It is possible due to involvement of David Unsaved of Ennui and his passion for the previous albums. Now he is in charge of composing all stuff. Subscript “A.K.” appeared because of some issues with one of ex-members, who spoke against using this title by anyone. The new line-up was also enhanced by John Devos of Mesmur in capacity of a drummer.
The new album was recorded in winter-spring of 2018 and called «Evangelium Nihil». It was made in accordance with the previous works and kept their recognizable atmosphere. The sound has become heavier and lower, that can make you feel the pressure of hopelessness physically. There is still not a gleam of hope.
Lineup:
David Unsaved: Bass, Keyboards, Guitars
John Devos: Drums
A.K. iEzor: Vocals
Tracklist:
1. Evangelium Nihil (00:00)
2. Comatose Vigil (17:54)
3. Deus Sterilis (34:10)

Bio Isolert:
Isolert a black metal band from Greece (Volos), formed in 2015 as a duet by Panagiotis T. and Nick S.
In 2015, the first demo entitled Isolated Soul was released mixing both melodic and raw elements, drawing influence from bands of the 90s Scandinavian scene like Gorgoroth, Burzum etc.
In 2016, with the addition of two more members, they released their 1st full-length album, entitled No Hope, No Light...Only Death, establishing their name in the underground scene.
In 2017, a self-titled EP (Isolert), a split with Insanity Cult (Towards The Great Dissolution) and a collaboration with Human Serpent (Everything Dies) were released.
Then, in 2020, they released their 2nd full-length album, World In Ruins, unifying elements from all previous releases and setting their distinct sound.
The bands style combines intense melodies with aggressive elements and merciless vocals, creating an epic atmosphere amidst a landscape of agony. Lyrical themes of a falling world, of despair and desolation preached through endless, enraged screams, in the rhythm of infuriated drums.
Isolerts new album Wounds of Desolation will be released in 2024, through Non Serviam Records. With the addition of George S. (Kosmovorous, Herald) on the bands ranks since 2021 and with a faster, more ferocious approach interwoven in epic melodies, Isolerts 3rd full-length album presents 38 minutes of unforgiving black metal.
