A Month of Magnificence - June 1st

114 years ago today, Olympic visited the port of Liverpool. Open to the public for touring, thousands were taken by tender to the Olympic, anchored in the River Mersey, for a tour of her luxurious public rooms and spacious promenades. This would be one of the few times Olympic visited Liverpool and the only time she visited before the outbreak of war three years later.
