ok, I've been watching this show for years on TV, but I never got to download it and edit it. Until I bought this new laptop and was subconsciously looking for distractions from studying and I downloaded it. Still, I didn't plan to edit Scandal, cause my feelings are pretty mixed, but then 5x09 happened with this scene and here we are...
I am not sure if I even like Fitz or Olivia as individuals. They can both be selfish, vindictive, manipulative, stubborn. All of them have done unforgivable stuff to many people. And I gotta say I like Olake very much, even though just the same I am not really sure I like Jake as a person. (Hah, honestly - the only ones I truly liked as individuals, as people, were Harrison and James). But these two... All the angst, the passion. That is what draws me to them. The pain. The fact that they are both so screwed up, and sometimes they make one another not so screwed up, then at other times, they mess each other up even more. And this scene - it was raw, and so them. I chose this song because it's perfect for them, for the situation.
I do hope I have some Scandal fans in my subs :D
Btw, am I the only one who things that when Olivia says "We have no future, not anymore' and she starts to cry, she thinks about the aborton? Not so much for regrets for having it, as much as pain from hiding it from Fitz?

Hun, I know you deserve waaaay better, and that it is not really a happy Steroline vid, more of a sad, angsty one, but still, whenever I see Sтeroline, I think of you! I think you are one of the reasons I love them so much - because of the way you made me see them back before anyone shipped them. Aaaand, besides, I love you and I wanted to make you something! I do hope you dont hate it hahahaha
This video is pure crap. I started it of with a certain idea, but I didnt get to execute it well. I think this song is really fitting for the way Caroline feels about Stefan and the whole situation right now, how she desperately needed him, and missed him, and he just left, not thinking about what he left behind, not thinking about her and she feels hurt, disappointed and betrayed. I tried to show that, the pain, the angst, the disappointment, the bitterness. I think I didnt do it that well, but I hope I at least managed to show some of the emotions they are giving me.
The viding style is partly my usual, partly something different, because I am so used to using slowed scenes and just put the voice overs over them, not use actual scenes. In this video I used both types of editing, plus velocity changes and many overlays which I thought would fit the beats of the song, but I guess you will be the judges of whether or not i succeeded.

Ah, how amazing are they? Honestly, they were the best thing in the episode. Idk, I guess I cant get used to TVD without Elena. As much as Ive hated her at times, she was the core of the show. But Ill stick with it. For Damon and also, for those two idiots. I am glad they now both realise how perfect they are for each other. I really hope the writers will let them just be happy, because theyve both been through hell and surely deserve it.
Ive always thought this song is perfect for them. Cause their hearts are the same to (almost) quote Mouth from OTh regarding Brooke and Lucas. But I decided to make it from Stefans POV - idk, it just felt right :) And I think it fits perfectly with how he feels about Caroline. I dont like how it turned out, I wanted it to be really good, but idk, I think the outcome is mediocre. But I guess you guys will be the judges of that :)
