Celtic are set to land Parma midfielder Oliver Sorensen on loan with an option to buy.

The 24-year-old signed for the Serie A side in a £8.6m deal from Midtjylland last summer and played 37 times last season.

But he's warmed the bench for their first two league games this season and Danish outlet Tipsbladet broke the news that Celtic are closing in on a loan deal that includes a purchase option.

Record Sport understand this one is a goer with Sorensen now set for a medical before the deal is rubber-stamped.
