My God why does this trash project have 10K views... It's completely bland and has no uniqueness whatsoever, just be aware that the stuff I make nowadays is like 50x better. This one's bad even in terms of quality, at least until Stage 6 (that one's okay ig).
Stage 1:
We begin the story of The Caretaker's wife, after her husband's funeral. Grief sets in.
0:00:00 - A1 - A sublime relationship fades away
0:04:54 - A2 - It cannot be
0:10:14 - A3 - Drowning in melancholy
0:15:34 - A4 - Dawn of a new day
An emotional recovery begins, but so do the first subtle signs of dementia.
0:20:52 - B1 - Not all is lost
0:26:39 - B2 - As if You were still here
0:32:07 - B3 - A little confused
0:37:42 - B4 - The World has grown so gray
Continuous regression into recollections about her husband's life brings blinding melancholy, allowing dementia to worsen unnoticed.
0:43:09 - C1 - As playful as in youth
0:48:14 - C2 - Momentary hesitation
0:51:46 - C3 - Days passing by
0:55:35 - C4 - Distant lands of solitude
0:59:19 - C5 - It will be alright
1:02:45 - C6 - Joyful moments ache with time
Acceptance of her loss is reached, soon to reveal the disease plaguing her mind.
1:06:15 - D1 - Sweet romance back there
1:11:50 - D2 - Waltz of a thousand stories
1:16:47 - D3 - No true beauty is meant to last
1:21:56 - D4 - Parting is such sweet sorrow
Stage 2:
Damage to the mind becomes noticeable, and brings about denial and contemplation of the irony of history repeating itself.
1:28:02 - E1 - An unsettling sensation
1:32:34 - E2 - Misplaced time adrift
1:36:56 - E3 - When I am alone without dreams of You
1:41:37 - E4 - Cloudy skies above
1:46:14 - E5 - Fate sealed in the ashes of stars
A pitfall of despair follows, often ceasing effort and letting the distortions loose.
1:50:41 - F1 - My heart aches for You
1:55:09 - F2 - Deafening sea of white noise
1:59:39 - F3 - Inner confusion
2:04:18 - F4 - Peaceful desperation
2:08:43 - F5 - A thousand falling stars
An effort to recall is required and continuously fought for, only for the realisation of the situation's true hopelessness to take place.
2:13:30 - G1 - The battle is not over
2:18:09 - G2 - A lonely song without audience
2:22:48 - G3 - Elusive hope
2:27:28 - G4 - Twilight silently approaching
2:31:48 - G5 - Silent cries dying out
Last embers of depression eventually give way to a complete resignation to the long journey ahead under constant pressure of memory loss.
2:36:29 - H1 - Thought shrouded in fog
2:40:38 - H2 - They say we die with the last memories of us
2:44:47 - H3 - The edge of the abyss
2:48:53 - H4 - How history repeats itself
2:53:10 - H5 - Nothing but dreams of lucidity
Stage 3:
As effort to fight it is given up, confusion soars, worsening with each passing day.
2:57:31 - I1 - Sea of twilight
3:01:26 - I2 - Sublime sorrow
3:05:26 - I3 - Distant playful skies
3:07:02 - I4 - Peaceful elusive stars
3:09:05 - I5 - Such confused confusion
3:11:40 - I6 - Beauty is above
3:13:27 - I7 - Last romance of there
3:16:18 - I8 - Shrouded still cloudy
A temporary regression to bliss, ignorant of the decay
3:20:18 - J1 - Playful sweet solitude
3:22:37 - J2 - Distant falling sensation
3:25:32 - J3 - Peaceful youth
3:27:01 - J4 - Silent youth skies
3:30:40 - J5 - Unsettling youth passing by
3:33:37 - J6 - Cries of youth
3:35:55 - J7 - Youth dying out
3:38:35 - J8 - As if I were alone
Confusion worsens dramatically. Attempting to recall previous memories leads to dread.
3:42:39 - K1 - Dreams of nothing
3:45:12 - K2 - Falling into the abyss
3:47:55 - K3 - Whispers tearing away from beauty
3:50:43 - K4 - Adrift in fog
3:54:20 - K5 - A thousand skies
3:56:54 - K6 - Abyss
4:00:08 - K7 - Lonely lucidity in itself
4:03:08 - K8 - Deafening cries of sorrow
The last moments of coherence before all collapses.
4:05:31 - L1 - Deaf World
4:07:33 - L2 - Elusive ache of thought
4:11:40 - L3 - Noise fog
4:13:38 - L4 - The edge of true parting
4:16:15 - L5 - Drowning in twilight
4:18:05 - L6 - Dying aches
4:20:27 - L7 - Lost lullaby
4:23:11 - L8 - Day fades away
Stage 4:
Post-Awareness Stage 4 is the breaking point. The frontier between lack of clarity and delirium. No coherent moments remain, a constant stream of uncannily familiar sounds overtakes everything.
4:28:30 - M1 - Stage 4 Post Awareness Confusions
4:50:11 - N1 - Stage 4 Temporary Bliss State
5:01:40 - N2 - Stage 4 Post Awareness Confusions
Stage 5:
Post-Awareness Stage 5 reaches the peak of entropy. Near the end, complete delirium is suddenly and inescapably cut off with nothingness.
5:12:01 - O1 - Stage 5 Advanced plaque entanglements
5:33:17 - P1 - Stage 5 Sudden time regression into isolation
Stage 6:
Post-Awareness Stage 6 takes place in the last months before death. Nothing is intact anymore, and moments of any activity are few and far between. This is the end of the line.
5:55:51 - Q1 - Stage 6 Blinding midnight consumes you whole
6:18:14 - R1 - Stage 6 The dying heart aches once more

So upon stumbling across the r/decult subreddit, and seeing their version of the demon list, I decided to submit something! Introducing SlaughterCode, a fully original level by me which bases the gameplay off of Slaughterhouse and the decoration off of DeCode. I like this level quite a lot, and you should try it if its within your skill range! A 15 minute level which uses my own heavily shortened version of Weve Destroyed All The Hope In This World by M.O.R.
I always really liked this fan project, and felt that I wanted to make something to show my appreciation, especially considering that its creator, WindowsGod2, is also a geometry dash player.
