We Happy Few was revealed in February 2015 with a successful Kickstarter campaign. After reaching over $200k, it wasn't until the following year that the game released on Steam Early Access - garnering a mixed reception all across the board for it's technical problems, and the fact it was released on Early Access despite the fact it was funded via Kickstarter in the first place. Many trailers and gameplay reveals later, the game finally released in a 'finished' state in August 2018 - and unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the technical problems have been addressed heavily, despite the added mechanics and story elements. I couldn't finish this game. The frame rate was far too distracting, and mixing it with the occasional gameplay issues made me quit. Why this game retails at a full retail price despite the Kickstarter funding AND Early Access state as well, I have NO idea. This whole thing is a mess, and that's a huge shame.
