Note: This is a very old video that was uploaded to Facebook way back in 2018 for Sonic's birthday and this video does not reflect on my current gaming abilities nor hand-eye coordination! Although, I still happen to use the debug mode a lot in Sonic ROM hacks because hey, you'd get weird or interesting stuff when it's enabled!
This is why I love the Gens rs/7 emulator by Gerbilsoft (even though it performs kind of terribly on Windows 10 due to my computer being a potato), is that when you make a save state with a lower sample rate (say, save state "X"'s sample rate is at 11,025Hz while save state "Y"'s sample rate is at 44,100Hz with the "YM2612 Improved" function turned off, you'd get audio results like this. I had the PSG turned off back then while doing this because the Gens emulator goes a bit overkill on the PSG. Even back then, I still didn't know what keyboard shortcuts were, and it shows.
