Original composition, this is a song I uploaded before but this is a new more of a folk style version perhaps, it was written one night in a cottage in the West of Ireland overlooking the Atlantic ocean, I was listening to the wind and thinking of all the people that had lived and worked on the land and sea over the years and how their spirits are kind of ingrained in the landscape
chorus
Well I heard old spirits calling on the wind × 2
They've come back to where life it did begin

In this old house the doors and windows they do shake
The mighty tempest will stir their souls awake

Down the chimney I do hear their songs howl
An ancient hymn of hope has come back to town

In the morning light the grass dances in the fields
Where once upon a time the old folks did live and breathe

The clouds now seem to float down upon the sea
The rolling waves roar shall set your hearts free

The lashing of the rain on rock makes you feel alive
Cherish all this life before it's demise
