Sir Dan is back! Sir Daniel Fortesque has risen again, and not in PS All-Stars! If searching on YouTube - Caddicarus Medieval and Caddicarus Medieval 2 are the top results when it comes to talking about a MediEvil PS1 review. Or any kind of MediEvil review, thinking about it - when it comes to Caddy, at least. And now we confuse the search bots once again as we review the MediEvil remaster - MediEvil PS4 - MediEvil remake - whatever you want to call it! You can even say Medieval remaster - Medieval PS4 - Medieval remake. You do you. Even if it’s wrong. Anyway, I managed to grab an early review copy of the game thanks to PlayStation UK, and so I was able to get this game finished, scripted and reviewed RIGHT on the day it released worldwide on the PS4. Is the MediEvil remake any good at all? Could it be improved? Is the MediEvil PS4 OST an improvement? Should the whole thing be forgotten about and be thrown into a worst game remakes list? Well that’s what I hope to answer in this Caddicarus review - so sit back, relax, pick your jaw up from the floor (which Sir Daniel Fortesque clearly forgot to do) and get ready for my ultimate dive into Medieval remastered for a modern audience. Sorry, MediEvil remastered for a modern audience. The game name is clever, but wow is it impossible to make tags for the video when everyone thinks it’s called Medieval. Who cares.

I haven’t hidden the fact that I love Luigi’s Mansion. Even though I haven’t done a Luigi’s Mansion review. I didn’t grow up with the original Luigi’s Mansion gameplay, since I didn’t even own a Gamecube until the early 2010’s, but when I did play it, I fell in love. Completely fresh and innovative ghost-hunting gameplay from Nintendo with a bleak and tense atmosphere and fantastic minimalist soundtrack (seriously, go and search Luigi’s Mansion OST right now, it’s brilliant). The original was so good, they even tried a Luigi’s Mansion 3DS version. I did a Luigi’s Mansion 3DS review a few years back, and I found it….fine? But nothing like the original. As far as Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is concerned - well, Luigi’s Mansion 2 in the UK anyway - I liked it a lot, but felt like the stage select system was a step down from before, and the over-excitable sountrack sucked the atmosphere out of the gothic and gloomy visuals. Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay takes every step forward correctly after Dark Moon, almost to the point of it feeling more like a Luigi’s Mansion 2 than Dark Moon did. And I’m ecstatic to say that, since after seeing the Luigi’s Mansion 3 trailer reveal, I got more hyped than I care to admit. In this Luigi’s Mansion 3 review, you’ll find out what I think about everything from the music and soundtrack and especially the new mechanics, including the horrific Gooigi, and Luigi’s Mansion 3 all bosses. This isn’t a Luigi’s Mansion 3 walkthrough, nor a tutorial on Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay, but you will see a Luigi’s Mansion 3 review. In case that wasn’t clear enough.

Kingdom Hearts: Back Cover (more accurately, Kingdom Hearts: χ Back Cover thats either pronounced as key, chi or cross) is a Kingdom Hearts movie set before any single game in the franchise. Its based off of a mobile phone game known as Kingdom Hearts: Union χ, which was a rebrand of a mobile game called Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ, which was a remake of a freeware browser game known as Kingdom Hearts: χ (all of which have different pronunciations of the letter χ - chi, cross, or key PLEASE STOP SQUARE ENIX PLEASE). Today, Caddy will try to finish things off and get his head around the story as he dives into a Kingdom Hearts Back Cover review from the PS4 collections, and if youre interested, the Back Cover movie appears on the HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue disc. So many words. So many names. In fact, I dont even remember the names of the characters in this thing - so please dont expect a Back Cover explained video. PlayStation VR was released in late 2016 at a very high price. Nowadays, it’s gone down quite a lot - but does Caddy think it’s worth the new price in 2019? That’s what this PSVR review aims to find out today - with all of the PSVR gameplay you see here being recorded straight from the PS4 Pro itself (sorry for the lower frame rate and quality, couldn’t get it any better), along with a PS Move review (more specifically a Move controller review), PS Aim Controller review - and more importantly, a big selection of PlayStation VR games to ease everyone into this new video series. In order of appearance, some of the PlayStation VR games you’ll see here are with a DOOM VFR review, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood review, The Inpatient review, PlayStation VR Worlds review (or PSVR Worlds review for short, depends how lazy you feel), Tetris Effect review, WipEout Omega Collection review, Resident Evil 7 review, Don’t Knock Twice review, Fruit Ninja VR review, Batman Arkham VR review, Moss review, Driveclub VR review, Farpoint review, EVE Valkyrie review, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR review and The American Dream review. As mentioned, I do apologise for the PlayStation VR gameplay in this video being 30fps and 720p but I had to record straight from the system itself. Also, I’m not going to be comparing difference from PS4 vs PS4 Pro for PSVR - because I’m unable to. But I do hear it’s not that crazy of a difference, so it’s all okay as far as I’m aware. Maybe the price has gone down because of the rumoured PSVR2? Who knows. PlayStation VR 2 sounds cool though. I’d also love to say this is an unboxing video but my boxes are firmly placed within my shelves and will not be able to be taken off without total office destruction, so meh, it’s an ‘out-boxing’ video.

The PlayStation Classic, to put it kindly, is Sony’s tepid attempt to cash in on the Nintendo mini console market. The difference being that the NES Classic and SNES Classic both have a much better lineup of games and are largely cheaper, making the PS1 Classic fall flat on its face in many ways. The full lineup of games on the tiny PS1 system (featuring a very small review of each port from Caddy) includes Battle Arena Toshinden, Cool Boarders 2, Destruction Derby, Final Fantasy VII (or Final Fantasy 7, whatevs), Grand Theft Auto, Intelligent Qube (Kurushi), Jumping Flash, Metal Gear Solid, Mr Driller, Oddworld Abe’s Oddysee, Rayman, Resident Evil, Revelations Persona, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Syphon Filter, Tekken 3, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Twisted Metal and Wild Arms. A few good, a few bad, but overall a pretty lacklustre setlist for this Playstation mini review.
