New Shepard is named after Alan Shepard who became America's first astronaut when he flew the Mercury Spacecraft, and given the recent NS-31 flight and some people trying to compare this flight to Alan Shepard's I though it would be educational to compare what he was tasked with doing during his first short flight into space.

Reentry let's me simulate every button, switch and display to give you an idea of what was asked of America's first astronauts.
