This is the 16-bit version of the music track recorded directly from the game, rather than exporting it (which would have been the older 8-bit version). Future uploads will use the 16-bit version moving forward.
On April 9, 2025, Old School RuneScape updated its music system to play tracks in a 16-bit format instead of the previous 8-bit format, resulting in less noise.
