With the Modern music area mode: Everywhere in the Wilderness with the exception of Ferox Enclave, the Pirates' Hideout and the Mage Arena.
With the Classic music area mode: In level 9 Wilderness west of the eastern Chaos Temple.
The eastern Chaos Temple lies in around level 11 Wilderness and is located south of the Bone Yard, east of Ferox Enclave, north of Varrock and west of the Slayer Tower.
The Wilderness is the north-eastern part of Gielinor (the world of RuneScape). Located north of Edgeville, Varrock, Ice Mountain, Falador and Goblin Village.
Other areas where the music area mode doesn't matter: At the entrance to Arandar after completing the Regicide quest.
Arandar is a mountain pass leading to Tirannwn that may be used by players upon completion of the Regicide quest. It is located south-west of Tree Gnome Stronghold and east of West-Ardougne
The track could previously also be played and unlocked in the west of West Ardougne and the Khazard Battlefield south of the city. However with the release of Song of the Elves it was changed to only play at Arandar.
The music area mode decides how a music track should automatically play. With the Modern music area mode, in a certain area, multiple tracks are unlocked. These tracks are being played shuffled in that area.
With the Classic music area mode, in a certain area, only one track would play and unlock there. This mode uses the music areas that were used before the update on 28 April 2021 but some tracks might be played in a different area than before.
You can set up the music area mode in the settings menu under the 'Audio' category.
