There’s been a breakthrough in the investigation into a suspicious fire in Old Montreal that killed a mother and daughter from France.
43-year-old Léonor Geraudie and her daughter, seven-year-old Vérane Reynaud Geraudie were killed in the Oct. 4 fire that ripped through a century-old building.
Police allege one of the men threw an incendiary device that sparked the fire and the other drove the getaway car.
