Caddy takes a look at the brand new Yooka Laylee game, after his rather controversial opinion in 2017 when he really liked the original Yooka Laylee. Yes, this isn’t an expansion or DLC like so many people think it is - it’s a full-on brand new game. This Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair review will take a look at how much more this is like Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World 2 Yoshi’s Island instead of Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie - sad considering the whole Banjo Kazooie Smash Bros thing. Yooka and Laylee need to be in Smash now, I guess. Or PS All Stars 2? A man can dream. Anyway, this Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair gameplay today was recorded from the PC version, with thanks to Playtonic for the review copy, and yet Caddy enjoyed it so much he decided to get Yooka Laylee Switch AND Impossible Lair Switch for ultimate Impossible Lair gameplay on the go. The soundtrack is also incredible, just search up Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair OST to see what I mean. For anyone interested, yes, I did find all the TWIT coins and Beetalion bees - but this is not a Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair walkthrough - no guide here, and no locations or secrets to spoil. It took me 7 attempts to beat the Impossible Lair itself - and I couldn’t do it with no bees, without taking damage. Impossible Lair No Damage runs need to be a thing, if they aren’t. By the way, I like this game more than Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3DS. Oops.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the third entry to the Tomb Raider Reboot trilogy, and a sequel to both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider 2013. Lara Croft saw a massive popularity spike after the original reboot hit the shelves, and it was heavily praised for its brutal themes, gorgeous visuals, slick controls for climbing and fighting - and more importantly - totally optional tombs that you could find in some of the more open stages and Square Enix involved. Caddicarus is a fan of these games which is clear from his original Tomb Raider review for the PS1, followed by a quick Tomb Raider Definitive Edition review years later, a Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 review (not on the Xbox One version, however - since that timed exclusivity was stupid) and now finally a Shadow of the Tomb Raider review. And now were back to multi platform - so what does he think about the direction of the series nowadays in 2018? Is it too samey for 3 games in? Is it still shocking and surprising? Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep was originally released on the PSP in 2010. In the PS4 collections under 1.5 and 2.5 Remix, a remaster of Birth by Sleep was put onto the collection under the Final Mix version of the game, which included more content and cutscenes, however this time with an entirely English voice over for those originally Japanese-only scenes. This Final Mix version of Birth by Sleep is what Caddy will be looking at today, and it turns out this was more important to the Kingdom Hearts story than he ever anticipated. Sorry if I start to sound exhausted, but here is my long-awaited Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep review! Well actually, my Birth by Sleep Final Mix review, but sssshhhh.

Mega Man was released in 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Capcom, the series caught on so much with its rage-inducing difficulty and incredible soundtracks that they were able to not only create 9 other sequels to the classic formula - but also create dozens of other games in spin-off forms. Mega Man X for the SNES, Battle Network for the GBA, Legends for the PS1 - and this isnt even including the Gameboy remakes, PSP remakes (Powered Up especially) and everything else Mega Man related. Hes even appeared in Smash Bros since then. And now Caddicarus is going to try and review all the classic series, at least, with the versions available on PC / PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch known as The Mega Man Legacy Collection, and then theres the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. If he didnt have save features, he probably would be crying right now. He thought this would be easy and here he is just counting with his carpel-tunnel hands how he only made it through Mega Man 1, Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, and Mega Man 4 in just this video. Either way - can Caddy review all of the Mega Man games in time before Mega Man 11 comes out? Who knows? Watch the video and find out on my Mega Man review!
