Hempuli | [OLD] Lost Valley playthrough - part 3 - Dark forest @Hempulix | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 17 minutes ago
Previously in Lost Valley we got the Holy Mantle, visited the graveyard and acquired the Fireball spell there. Unfortunately the differences in damage taken and dealt are quite drastic between levels, so I couldn't get through the graveyard dungeon nor defeat the Horrible Wanderer near the shore. This time I have a bit more levels under my belt.
Now that I know that I can get good-quality footage of the game, I've decided to actually do a full playthrough. As the game goes on the EXP and gold grind become mind-numbingly time-consuming so I've given myself maximum gold and will increase my level as necessary; to keep the experience at least somewhat authentic, I won't increase my level more than a couple steps above what the game expects of me.

I recommend checking out their more recent Castlevania fangames, especialle Lecarde Chronicles 2; very solid stuff with some of the same feel as in Lost Valley:

Lost Valley is an old-school adventure game made by MIG2 using Multimedia Fusion 1.5. The game is absolutely massive, especially considering that it's a one-person project made using MMF 1.5's engine that wasn't best suited for large-scale projects.
