OLD JBL Xtreme 1 vs NEW Harman kardon Onyx Studio 9 bluetooth speaker sound bad bass test battle! In this wireless speaker comparison, Itest the sound, bass, volume and speaker excursion of the old JBL Xtreme 1 against the new Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9. Which one sounds better and which speaker delivers more powerful bass? The JBL Xtreme 1 may be an older Bluetooth speaker, but it still features dual 63 mm woofers, dual passive bass radiators and a 10,000 mAh battery rated for up to 15 hours of playback. The Onyx Studio 9 is a newer portable stereo Bluetooth speaker with Bluetooth 5.3, self-tuning, a wider soundstage, deep bass and Auracast multi-speaker connectivity. For this test, both speakers are running three volume steps below maximum. The speaker grilles are removed so you can clearly see the woofer movement and speaker excursion during the bass test. The JBL Xtreme 1 is also much cheaper on the second hand market, while the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 costs significantly more. So, is the newer and more expensive Onyx Studio 9 really better?
