Tompa A | OLD Donkey Kong Country 101% TAS WIP 2 @TompaA | Uploaded 15 years ago | Updated 7 hours ago
Because I haven't made any progress since May, I decided to upload world 2 as well.
This world introduces a new trick. Even though this is a 101% run, you see that there are two bonuses that I don't even enter. The reason to this is that the % counter goes up the very frame you enter the bonus and during that frame I'm able to press Start & Select to leave the level, but still gaining the bonus.
This is also a way for me to announce that I'm going to drop this run. The reason is that I need a cam hack/cheat for Croctopus Chase. The in game camera isn't fast enough to keep up with me, and I really need to see what I'm doing, so that's why I need a camera code so I can proceed.
But I've asked for help several times and no one has been able to help me and I can't be bothered to be at the same level forever so I'm dropping the run until a solution has been found.
If anyone here can help me out, I would be happy, but the run won't be finished until that. Sorry.
This is a Tool Assisted recording. Meaning it was recorded using an emulator with slow motion, save states and rerecording.
