Yep you read it right! Smoked some wings and then fried some wings and did it all on the Oklahoma Joe's Highland Reverse Flow Smoker!! I will admit that the wings weren't quite as crispy as I wanted but they still had great flavor! I think next time I will heat up the oil a bit more. But make sure to give this a try and also get yourself some of the Tailgaters BBQ Party Rub! You can thank me later!

Fuel type: Kingsford Blue Bag original and 2 chunks of applewood

I cut the wings in to just flats and drums then coated each wing with a bit of olive oil and generous coat of the Tailgaters BBQ Party Rub. Then I smoked the wings for approximately 1.5 hours at 250F. Wing Temp was about 175F IT when I pulled them from the cook chamber. I then heated up some canola oil to 300F on top of the firebox and let wings cook in the oil for 2-3 minutes. Let wings cool for a bit and eat.
