The Oklahoma City Police Department and the Oklahoma City Police Athletic League (PAL) undertook a community service project to assist a local family in need. OKCPD and PAL identified the family through the PAL Mentorship Program. The family has faced significant loss and ongoing challenges. Officers, community partners, and youth from the PAL Mentorship program worked together to renovate the family’s home, aiming to provide a safer and more comfortable environment for them. OKCPD and PAL collaborated with OKRespond, which officially adopted the project and contributed resources toward the renovation.
