Like cousin, like cousin.

Chiharu is, at best, the cousin closest to Sayori’s age. She’s compassionate, sweet, and a massive foodie. That’s where the similarities end, as she’s also brash, loud, and an aggressive cook.

When they were young, Chiharu would always make Sayori her mother’s homemade pasta. She taught her how to make it, as well, whenever she was away. She taught her well and good how to properly make it, ingraining the aggressiveness of her cousin to her.

Chiharu would also visit Sayori, getting acquainted with her childhood friend, MC. All of them would play near the lake by the pond, with Chiharu always ending up picking up leeches with sticks to prank MC.

One day, when she was older, she decided to move into Sayori’s neighborhood so they could visit each other more easily. She also enrolled in her highshool, to see if she could join any clubs that caught her eye.

In her old school, she was the Vice President of the Music Club. She had the loudest voice that anyone there had heard of, quickly gaining the attention of her new school’s Music Club.

But she ended up not joining that club. She saw something much more fulfilling than music.
