Ari and friends return to Triste. There Rosalyn confesses her admiration for Ari, and is given the Gallant Rapier by the merchant there. Ari heads downtown and the music box begins to play. Ari hears the girl's voice again, calling out for him. It is now evident that this is indeed the real Marlene.
