Stan explains to Rosalyn that he cannot bring her shadow back to its former state until he has regained his power back from the fake evil kings. Stan tries to persuade Rosalyn into following him in order to help him regain his power faster. He fails and he and Rosalyn get into a fight.
Back at the hotel, Rosalyn literally turns the lights off on Stan, and in the dark where there are no shadows, her and Ari are finally alone. Ari takes Rosalyns actions as sexual intentions, but is wrong about his thoughts, to his dismay. Rosalyn tells Ari that she has learned that the princess is visiting a town just a ways from Madril. She tells him that if they can find her, the might be able to free Ari from Stan and he could be punished by the princess. And so, Rosalyn joins the party and Ari wanders around Madril, learning how releived the townspeople are that the Sewer Evil King was destroyed.
