Ari finds out that the female heroine's name is Rosalyn. She finally gets a number, and her secret is almost exposed. However, she keeps her secret from Ari by assaulting a clerk. Ari finds out from Dill, who can't learn to keep secrets, that Toby is guarding the entrance to a secret entryway to the east side of town. Ari heads there, and finds our heroine with the pink parasol waiting in line.
