On Thursday, May 11, 2023, OIST hosted a visit from Dr. Nancy Snow. Dr. Snow is a writer, teacher, global communications strategist, and public diplomacy thought leader. She was an advisor to the OIST Foundation and visited OIST in 2015 when she wrote this article about OIST for the Japan Times. Here, Nancy talks with Dr. Gail Tripp, leader of the Human Developmental Neurobiology Unit at OIST about their backgrounds, how each of them came to live and work in Japan, the challenges of balancing family with work as a scientist, and the vision of Gail's research on ADHD.
Dr. Tripp has been at OIST since 2007 and her work on ADHD is groundbreaking and valued in Japan and around the world.
