Global bond yields climbed back to the highest level in almost two decades as rising oil prices fueled inflation concerns and investors ramped up expectations for interest-rate hikes.

Two oil supertankers were struck by unknown projectiles in quick succession while transiting the Persian Gulf’s Strait of Hormuz chokepoint, maritime security consultant Marisks said. The latest escalation comes as President Donald Trump dismissed concerns that the conflict in Iran was draining American firepower. “This is a relatively little war for us,” Trump told reporters on Monday. “This is not a big war.”

Shein shares pared steep early losses to finish almost unchanged in their Hong Kong debut. After a years-long process, the fast-fashion retailer’s initial public offering saw it valued at a fraction of what it was once worth.
