Oia is the most visited village in Santorini and the second largest after the island's capital Fira. It has become famous all around the world for its authentic Cycladic beauty, whitewashed houses, labyrinth-like alleys and hotels. The whole place is built along the Cliffside. Most of the visitors come here to admire its unique architecture, captains’ houses, Blue Domes, cave houses and the magical sunset. It is a synthesis of white-blue houses and churches, with pink and ocher details, “hanging” on the caldera, composing a colorful canvas.
