(I’ll keep it short and not give you much of explanation lol)
Beer never liked children, but had children with Smoothie anyways to make her happy. Their first child was Lemonade, then 11 years later they had Soda.
Years later, when Soda was 8 years old, Smoothie and the kids were in town. While crossing the street Soda had trip though, and a car was coming (bro wasnt paying attention to the road i suppose). Smoothie, seeing the danger pushed Soda out of the way, dying in his place. After that Beer had a deep hatred for Soda and gradually became an abusive father towards both his children, normally yelling and threatening them, and then lashing them with a belt when he was angry at them.
