Gary Siders Sr., 73; Gary Siders Jr., 36; Christina Siders, 67; and Elizabeth Siders, 33 — appeared in court, where a judge entered not guilty pleas on their behalf and set their cash bonds at $300,000 each.
Gary Siders jr., 36; and Elizabeth Siders, 33; wed in W.Virginia when she was just 15 yrs old. The first of the 16 children, was born a few months later.
They appear to be the parents of the 16 children police rescued from the home in Hamden Village, Vinton, Ohio, being called “the feral children farm.”
The ages of the children range from 18 months to an 18yr old female that can not read or write her own name.
There appears to be 3 possibly 4 sets of twins and officers described them as caked in urine and feces, covered in bugs and communicating through grunts and shrieks.
1 of the children remains in ICU, on a respirator at an Ohio children’s hospital, 4 have been released from the hospital and the others are being treated.
Investigators stress that there is no threat to children in the area and this was not a human trafficking incident.
Family members of Elizabeth Siders are now coming forward. I have to tell you this story is becoming more and more disturbing.
