Basically what’s happening is a buster call was administered on an island called Ohara, Robins home. During this, Robin had the help of her giant friend Saul, and her mother to get to the end of the island. This is where she met Marine Admiral Aokji, who was waiting for her. He says he wants to see the person Robin turns into if she survived, and made a trail with a boat leading to an island.
If you don’t know what a buster call is already, it’s basically when an island is ordered to be destroyed by a marine, battle ships come and destroy the island. The reason it was administered on Ohara is since apparently “Ohara knows too much.”. Ohara had archaeologist who studied the history and all that, and eventually learnt how to read road Ponoglyphs  I guess.
