We offered the Ohana CK-Kit as a special experience that parents could bid on for support for our PTSO (Parent/Teacher School Organization). We had two students take advantage of the program this year.
The Ohana CK-Kit offers an Ohana concert ukulele which is basically in paint ready mode...but could use more sanding. Additionally, the tuners were really hard to turn, the fretboard was really dry, and the instruments needed to be set up before they could go to their new homes.
Lessons learned for next year--but I would definitely recommend this as an option to other schools.
